Conversation Hearts from The Spiral

Happy Valentine's Day, readers! I'm so excited for all that the day will bring to you today. LOVE! Love is in the air!

So I have a lot of multi-person Wizard101 mounts to give away including a Blood Raven, Great Hornocerous, Hydra, Malorian Dragon, Scarydactyl, Winter Treant, Phoenix, and the mighty Trex! If you'd like a shot at winning one, all I need you to do is send me a conversation heart from The Spiral!

What's a conversation heart from The Spiral? Basically conversation hearts are those little candy hearts with text written on them . . . like this!

Here's a link to the website I used to create that, BUT you definitely don't have to only use that program when you make your heart . . . feel free to be as creative as you'd like! Heck, make a cookie heart and snap a picture of it if you'd like! (um, please, no real hearts /shudder) However you make your graphic, package it up and send it to thefriendlynecromancer@gmail.com (if you're under 13, get your parent or guardian's assistance) by 20 February 2013, and your conversation heart from The Spiral will be judged AND entered into a raffle. That's right, there's a raffle portion to this as well, so don't worry if you're not particularly feeling creative today. :) Just try to make your heart Wizard101 or Pirate101 themed.

We'll announce winners by 25 February (earlier if possible). :) NOTE: Only one entry per person!

Best of luck and happy dueling!

Thank you for the hearts!

I just wanted to say thank you for all the conversation hearts! Winners have been emailed (check your email if you haven't--Pretty much everybody who entered won something). Check out all these cool entries:

You guys are fun!

Bad Pedro Pace has a Death Unicorn!

His name is Iago . . .

A sinister unicorn rogue . . .

"O, beware, my lord, of jealousy; it is the green-ey'd monster which doth mock the meat it feeds on . . ." - from Othello

. . . and that's pretty epic. :)

Avenging Fossil!

OHHHHhhhhOOOOOoo!

You thought I wasn't even playing Wizard101 right now, didn't you?

It's all Pirate101 this and Pirate101 that . . . WRONG!

;)

I'm just super happy about getting my new Level 88 spell, that's all . . . and it comes straight out of Malistaire's old spellbook, yo. Check it out!

Which makes one wonder . . . hmmm . . . why didn't Malistaire cast the Avenging Fossil on me back in Dragonspyre instead of wave after wave of vampires. ;) hehe. Seriously though, Angus is super happy he did not cast that spell, but man, wouldn't an updated harder version of Malistaire rock?

I digress.

I didn't run into too much trouble picking this spell up this morning. It just took a bit of time to chew through Tezomoc Stone Singer and his two tower shield casting ice minions.

Victory!

It's a pretty cool spell with a nice single target attack combined with a DoT spell for all other enemies. Not bad! I know a lot of death wizards keep hoping for more AoE life drain spells, but I'll take the Avenging Fossil. Besides, I gotta say I was happy to see it looked like a Stegosaurus. #1 FAVORITE DINOSAUR EVA! Right after this guy . . .

Happy dueling!

Catching up -- P101 and DCUO

YO!

I don't want to bore you guys too much with a catching up post, but now I'm going to bore you guys with a catching up post. hehe.

Obviously I've been thinking about Pirate101 daily. I think about all our players and how they're doing in game. I love hearing about what level everyone has obtained and how they love and hate certain companions. I haven't run into a companion I despise yet! And that's probably because I'm yet to play with Nurse Quinn and the Hermit Crab from what I'm understanding. ;)

Bad Pedro Pace is now in MooShu

He's actually 44 right now. I just finished up Khotan and TOTALLY THREATENED THE CHICKEN!

I love that instance. It was surprisingly brutal for me as a privateer as well. All those first strike mobs made me change my line up to musketeers for a good portion of the dungeon. For General Tso's battle, it was a matter of choosing companions I thought could outlast the onslaught and bring a lot of single target damage to one of the mobs standing guard in front of the chicken. Can I just say how much I love my invincibility bubble and valor buffs in that fight? I love them. 'Nuff said.

Outside of Pirate101, I've been playing a lot of DC Universe Online with my Sunday Night static group. You can read more about our adventures on West Karana if you're interested. (As I've said before, DCUO isn't a kids' game . . . but it sure reminds me of the kid inside who loved to run down to the local 7-11 and buy comic books with my friends)

My character just earned his Tier1 armor wings yesterday!

I was pretty psyched about it. hehe.

I do hope that whatever you're doing, you're happy and having fun! Feel free to leave me a comment or a link to a blog post to let me know what you've been up to in the gaming world. I may host another contest here pretty soon and Uber Wife and I have been talking about a Happy Dueling podcast come back! Maybe, just maybe . . .

Happy dueling!

Good morning my fine friends!

I've got 15 awesome St. Patrick's Day themed codes to give away to the readers of The Friendly Necromancer courtesy of KingsIsle . . . those crazy people who keep me employed. :)

If you are one of the winners of the code, you'll get a huge helping of golden themed items from Wizard101:
• Gold Kirin Mount (Permanent)
• Gold Wyvern Mount (Permanent)
• Gold Pieces (50000)
• Crowns (5000)
• Sun Palace House
• Hatching Elixir
• Additional Castle Elixir
• Major Gold Elixir

Plus one of the following four pets (at random):
• Death Leprechaun
• Myth Leprechaun
• Leprechaun
• Lucky Leprechaun

It's truly an amazing code! You must enter through the Rafflecopter widget below and leave me a blog comment to let me know your favorite golden item in either Wizard101 or Pirate101. It's as easy as that, and then I'll choose 15 random winners after the contest ends on 26 March.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

There are some restrictions you should be aware of:
• If the winner has the max number of houses already, they will need to use the Additional Castle Elixir before redeeming the house from their Gift Window.
• ALL of these codes expire at the end of April 2013.
• One code can be redeemed per account. Sadly this means if you win a code, and an additional code from another site giving away one of these same golden prizes, you can only redeem one of the codes on your account. If this should happen, however, you're free to redeem the second code on another account, give it to a friend or forfeit. No substitutions or recompense.

May the luck of the Irish be with you!

Interesting Pirate101 Posts From the Weekend

$

Daily I review a ton of information about Pirate101. It basically consumes me, and I feel that digestion of all the news and thoughts is just part of my job. I see a lot of good things that from time to time I wish I could share with everyone in kind of a holistic look at our fine community. Unfortunately, time is my biggest enemy these days, and finding the time to blog and reblog is prohibitive from a lot of things!

So basically, there are a lot of sung and unsung heroes that are working hard to make this community unique and fantastic, and I appreciate them. I thought I'd just give a quick shoutout of a few awesome Pirate101 posts from over the weekend that I read (or listened to in the case of our fine podcasts).

~~

1- Player Requests -- One thing I've learned is that we can't really accept any privately submitted ideas . . . instead we encourage people to share publicly on our forums (mostly), but I also look at other official fan sites or anywhere people gather to share ideas. Here's a few that stood out over the weekend:

Coolster brought up the fact that Pirate101 doesn't really have Lore Book quests. He's right and it's something we've thought about expanding on -- for now the closest thing we have in game would be the quest The Halls of Learning in Valencia where you run around and click on the pillars to learn a Valencian point of view on the worlds of The Spiral.

Sirap asked for a way to toggle the auto ship attack off and on. I think there's definitely some validity to his request. It's been something cumbersome that's been hard to explain to players who want to help fire upon a ship that's already being engaged. Most new players simply allow the Auto attack to return fire when they are fired upon and don't know that you have to manually select the ship and click your ship's abilities to join in the attack.

At the 21:21 Mark of the most recent Talkin' the Plank podcast, Luke and Brandon suggested giving players more to do within the Spiral Threads since these seems to be nothing more than a staging area to go from one world to the next. They had some cool ideas like adding a Ship Wreckage collection quest or something like a minigame involving steering around waves . . . in essence, it seems like a waste of extra space and opportunity. On a side note, players on Central noted the hidden value of the Spiral Threads for farming as a free-to-play player.

OceanPainting had an interesting idea for a new class he called the “Brigand.” Posts about new classes will pop up from time to time, and I always find them interesting despite the fact that I don't think there really are plans to add an extra character class, but this was definitely an interesting idea . . . and who knows! Stranger things have happened, right? What I liked was that his idea seemed more fleshed out and had an understanding of how to make the class special. The introduction of an Intelligence score would have ALL KINDS of implications that would touch probably every mob in the game, but I appreciate the creativity, and it's not really my job to worry about the implications (is there a national Hug a Designer Day? There should be!)

Vinny and a bunch of others on the forums made a call for more One-Eyed Jack! :) I can't say I disagree with them. Obviously One-Eyed Jack holds a special place in my heart.

Moltenshadow made a request for World Arenas for Pirate101’s PvP--Just like they are in Wizard101. This has been brought up before and obviously we're not done with PvP in Pirate101 yet, but I like the way he's thinking here. Themed arenas would be great in my opinion! Of course, eventually a whole PvP revamp will happen.

~~

2- Player questions -- There are so many questions that come up in a day. Although most of them are about things that have a very standard answer, or things that CAN'T be answered (the dreaded "When's the next world coming out" question), many of them are simply thought provoking and taking a stab at answering them can be a bit of a stab in the dark.

Lucas asks why Lucy Sterling has a mustache (have to be logged in to see that thread). LOL. Well, that sounds absolutely crazy to me, and I've seen Lucy Sterling and no she doesn't have a mustache. So the question for me then becomes, is there some reason why Lucy Sterling would appear to have a mustache under the lighting of the Earth Guardian room? It is kind of a darker area. Or, is this a new glitch or simply a strange glitch on this person's computer? If someone has a good picture or can explain this, please let me know! April Fool's joke?

Coolster asks how come Wizard101 loads faster than Pirate101 even though Wizard101 has twice the worlds? Well, that's a really good question, and I believe we're looking to bring that back in-line with Wizard101! This is part of the reason we reduced the size of the introductory sequence of the game and made a number of other behind the scenes changes.

Coolster wonders why it appears the Black Storm Shaman is to be a Musketeer companion, but that there isn’t a side quest that grants him. It very well may be that there is a quest that used to grant the Black Storm Shaman, and perhaps it was removed. It's hard to tell, and further research is required.

Oceanpainting had multiple questions:
1. Will the Troggy Pack ever be revived as a full-fledged pack?
2. Will the Hammerhead shark ever make an appearance
3. Will the Water Mole concept art of the shop with the rock gorilla sculpture ever be used?

Truth be told there are several concepts that never become anything, and sometimes other concepts we simply hold in our back pocket until they're needed. Right now, I don't think the Troggy Pack is among the list of upcoming releases, but again, you never know!

Coolster asks, why are there variances between Lucky Jack Russell’s Promotion and Birgus and Gaspard’s Promotions . . . especially given the fact that the 3 of the MooShu five have a very similar promotion. It would be nice to have someone step up and answer a question like this, but it's kind of just "a thing that makes you go hmmmm." I imagine it was just something to provide variety (and the designers haven't got back to me on this one).

~~

3- Player fun and feedback -- Our players have a lot of fun and always give a lot of great feedback. Here's a quick look at what made this last weekend interesting:

Y'all liked our free Jug of Yum surprise we gave you for hitting 20,000 likes on Facebook! Awesome. We're going to keep growing, and I'm glad we were able to give everyone a little something.

This post just made me smile: “did you make the name el dorado up? or did you get it from the car the cadillac eldorado?” One of my coworkers said I should reply and say the next world after El Dorado will be El Camino. ;)

This is an awesome player-made “create a new companion” contest. I can't wait to see what comes out of this contest. Either way, it's really fun to take a look at these.

Enquiring players’ minds want to know . . . what could be behind the double doors in Lucious Fox’s shop? OOOOo! Nobody knows! I love a good mystery! :)

~~

Thanks everyone for all you do daily to make this a really fun and interesting community. Let me know your thoughts about these community posts. What did I miss mentioning from last weekend that you thought was interesting!?

Happy dueling

Ding 50 -- Bad Pedro Pace!

Yes!

Bad Pedro Pace has finished the game and dinged 50 at the same time (yes that means I skipped a lot of sidequests ;p).

On Plus side: It was quite fun and interesting to experience the game as a Privateer. There were definitely different challenges to playing this way as to playing as a Witchdoctor, but there were a lot of similarities in that my first rounds were still filled with buffing -- Only instead of buffing with JuJu, I was buffing with things like Discipline and Call to Arms. If things got sticky, healing spells were readily available.

The ability to buff mid-combat when all my companions were spread out to the far reaches of the battleboard was nice too. Gotta love those accuracy buffs when you get a bad draw of mismatched companions, right?

I think what I noticed most was my power to turn the tide when joining others in combat. Oh my word, I was a super awesome support person that would literally save the day! Throwing down Valor's on some weakened companions and healing the entire team makes the Privateer the ultimate life saver--Listen people, you WANT Privateers in your group. :) Also, if you wanted to only play as a passive character in Pirate101, I think this would be the class to do it with.

On the Down side: My nautical level really suffered the second time through the game. I found myself less willing to grind up that Nautical level like I was with my first character and ended up being a level 50 player with a level 32 Nautical, and that's only because I stumbled upon a Nautical exp party someone was having in the skyways . . . otherwise I probably would have ended up at a level 30 Nautical. (yes, I know, I really did ignore most of my side quests.)

Thank you random people having a Nautical exp party! Y'all were worth an extra three nautical levels! It's too bad more Nautical exp parties don't happen in the Haunted Skyways of Cool Ranch when you really are feeling the pinch, right? (I believe there are a couple high powered ships in that particular skyway if I remember right.)

So, next up for me will be a romp through the game as either a Buccaneer or a Musketeer. My Buccaneer is currently level 18, so he would be the easiest to play, and he's leveled up to my son's character. My Musketeer is only level 8 I think, and is still hanging out with Uber Wife's character in Skull Island.

Either way, I'm still on that goal of getting all the character classes through the game.

See you in the skyways,

Happy Dueling!

TADA!

(insert screenshot of final battle between the Undying Malistaire and his minions and me, uber wife, and two random strangers that were pretty cool)

Why do I not have this screenshot readily available? BECAUSE SILLIES, I WAS ON THE LAPTOP AND NOW I'M ON THE MAIN COMPUTER!

Ok, I'll see if I can dig up a really cool screenshot on our computer. here you go:

Woot! Bailey and I are looking hawt caught there between a fire bridge and a volcano!

So, here's the deal with Azteca, it was pretty epic. Plenty of people have completed it before us, and plenty of people will complete it after us. I really have nothing much to add (strategy-wise) beyond what the amazing community has done with strategy guides and advice already:

Xibalba info from Mercenaries for Hire.
Belloq in Azteca.
Cipactli info.
Ponce de Gibbon strats a plenty.

Mercenaries is always a great place to visit for strats. Yup. What I can tell you is that--it was "uber" fun! What made it most fun of course was that I was playing side-by-side with the "uber wife" Bailey the whole way . . . sure she ditched me with her Storm Wizard and caught up to me AGAIN with her Fire Wizard mid-way through the whole thing, but that's too be expected when I was busy leveling a couple pirates up to 50, right? The important thing here is that we FINISHED! TOGETHER! AND LIKE I SAID . . . it was fun!!

There was a point in time about three-fourths of the way through when I started to go a little nuts on Bailey and started talking in baby talk for a couple hours straight while we were playing, but other than that my sanity is still in check. There was also a moment where everything became centered around yolo:

And during Xibalba we were happily watching Star Wars I and II since it was May the fourth (be with you), so lots of jokes about Yoda and the force were to be had.

Hmmm, what else . . . OH YEAH . . . Gotta say once of my favorite moments was pretending my mount was saying "ow ow ow ow hot hot hot hot ow ow ow ow" as we were running up the lava steps to Xibalba.

. . . and before we knew it it was all Malistaire hates us poof the end!

To be honest, I feel a bit out of the loop as to what to do next with Thomas. I imagine at this point is when I would try to find some gear to replace my Waterworks gear and farm and/or craft the heck out of the top instances in Wizard101, hunting for exactly the right piece of class specific gear.

Suggestions?

I know Bailey is going to craft the Azteca gear for her Fire wizard and will be working on her pets a bit more (as well as working in her new gardening farmhouse), but that's about it for now . . .

Thanks for reading!

Happy dueling!

Feeling Overwhelmed? Dude, just game! ;p

Heya! To say I've been ignoring my blog is a total understatement. Sorry about that. I've been feeling overwhelmed I suppose -- actually, this whole past year has been pretty overwhelming in general. You know you've got it bad when you start browsing pages like this instead of pages like this.

But to say I haven't had any time to game would be a total lie. Just to catch you up, I've now dinged 57 in Pirate101 on my Witchdoctor and entered Aquila, and of course, destroying Marleybone's version of the Death Star (or what have you) was extremely satisfying!

My Marleybone experience was super fun, and I loved riding around on my Pennyfarthing mount!

Best . . . mount . . . ever. But to be honest, right now playing Pirate101 for me just feels a bit like HURRY UP AND FINISH THE GAME! I need to get through it once on my own, and it's kind of weighing on me that I haven't been all the way through yet.

I will say that it feels pretty awesome to finally have a new ship though after steering around in that Marleybone Galleon for so long. Bring on the Aquilian ships! I love the design, and I love everything about them. (psst, you really should head over to the official Pirate101 fan sites to see if they're holding contests right now wink wink.)

And, to switch games entirely on you, over in the world of DC Universe Online, my character has hit CR 80, whoa . . . never thought I'd hit CR 80 . . . . I've been busily doing my daily missions trying to earn marks and get new gear. Currently that means splitting my time between Ace Chemicals and Stryker Island performing a couple quests for the steelworks foreman in each location until a grand total of 5 missions is reached for the week, and then you get a pretty challenging instance that awards you an awesome piece of gear and a slew of marks.

I'm looking more and more like a member of Daft Punk.

The past few weeks our static group has been having a heck of a time trying to take down the Judge in this insane Tier 3 instance. Last Sunday we pulled him down to 10 percent life and lost it. It's a frantic encounter that's full of complexity and something that has been a bit of an uber challenge for our group. In every game we've play (aside from Diablo 3), we've always run into one or two encounters that just stonewall the group for a few weeks, this is our wall lately.

ANYWAY, today is the last day of school for our kids, so THIS IS AWESOME! Not to be selfish or anything, but this bodes well for my blog. I would spend an hour and a half in the morning getting my kids off to school and now . . . MORE ME TIME! hehe.

So, hopefully I can blog a bit more here in the near future.

Happy Dueling!

I've been asked by a few other Wizard101/Pirate101 bloggers lately for interviews, and I thought I would share those with you in case you missed them.

1- Interview with Around the Spiral with Edward Lifegem
2- Interview with Housing Manual (formerly A Deadly Pirate)

Thank you both for your questions! We have such a kind and wonderful community. I really appreciate everyone's kindness. Thank you!

Just wanted to say that I've been happily playing Pirate101 and enjoying the heck out of Aquila. I'll be sure to post a follow up to Edward's questions about which world I liked best in the new expansion soon! After last weekend, I'm level 61 now and staring down the Labyrinth. I absolutely cannot wait to take on the Hydra and see what all the fuss is about with my own two eyes. :)

Also just wanted to link to the newest Pirate101 Commercial that's hitting the airwaves officially today (started a bit early last night).

I think it turned out great!

WAZZZZZZZ UPPPPPPPP?!?!?!

Sorry . . . I'm just excited because for the past few weeks I've been messing around with The Chez's Avalon Song. I emailed him after his song hit the world, and asked if I could remix his tune for fun, and he said YES!

I've now uploaded this remix to my Google Doc site where I keep all my remixes:

The Avalon Song (Zafaria Remix by DJ Friendly)

And, if you don't know what I'm talking about, here's a link to a few posts ago where I talk about the awesomeness that is The Avalon Song. I love the original, obviously, and I think it's really cool (and to be celebrated) whenever anyone in the community expresses themselves creatively like this. *round of applause for The Chez*

Anyway, I hope someone at least enjoys that remix as much as I had fun making it. :) hehe.

YO! It's TFN with another boring post about how I finished the current content with my main character!

;)

I actually finished a week or so ago, but I just haven't said anything on my blog yet. I'm still processing the experience. The experience was very much like reading a good summertime book. What I mean by that is, it was kind of like when back in grade school when the book mobile would roll around our neighborhood, and I'd stroll in to find a book to read for the week.

Remember book mobiles?

no?

They're awesome little buses that were packed with a small selection of books. My book mobile stopped just a block away from my house. I'd choose two or three good candidates and then stroll back home with some new adventures in my hands. Some of my book choices were good, and some were just meh, but regardless of the quality of the book, you wanted to read it all the way through to the end by the time the book mobile came around the next week so you could load up on some new reading material. Sometimes you'd succeed, and some weeks you'd simply go to the Bookmobile to window shop your next book because you weren't done reading the other books yet.

So my summer book the past month or so would be titled "Friendly Thomas, the Friendly Witchdoctor, in the Marleybone and Aquila Capers!" I guess (I'm suddenly glad that I'm not in charge of writing titles for books.) Next up in the series is "Bad Pedro Pace, Privateer with Penanche, in the Marleybone and Aquila Escapades!" (again, my apologies). Bad Pedro is already level 51 and still getting ready for his new adventures in Marleybone (aka hanging out in Port Regal).

What I liked about Aquila was the lean towards the classic film Clash of the Titans. When the medusa battle came up, I was totally like . . . where's my reflective shield!

Well, being blindfolded and under the effects of a potion that gives me Daredevil like senses is cool too. :)

I loved the whole experience, and I loved seeing all those Myth school monsters come to life in Pirate101 as full fledged actors. Seeing things like that happen make an old Wizard101 fan happy. I can't stress enough how if you consider yourself a Wizard101 fan, you should play Pirate101. There are so many head nods and cross connects that sometimes the game itself feels completely new yet like a solemn tribute to Wizard101 fans.

I'm interested in hearing what you thought of Aquila! Frogfather is asking right now what something you would want to change about your experience, but I generally thought it was a good time, and I full heartedly accept my new found buddy HAWKULES (!!) into my crew. :)

Now I just need to grind out the last two levels of Friendly Thomas's Nautical experience and finish out a few essentials (like getting Zeena as a companion).

Happy Dueling

I wanted to make sure to catalog this video here on this blog because . . . well . . . at the end of the day, this is what it's all about.

You get to shortly see Ryan and me playing before lunch at the 5:00 minute mark. hehe. It was my honor to get to play a few rounds of Pirate101 with Ryan. We're both Witchdoctors! :) At the same time we were playing together, his brother and sister were hanging out in the same room while and we were all talking about the game with Blind Mew. Ryan's older brother plays the game with him and his sister had never played the game. She had a lot of questions, and who knows, maybe she'll pick up the game too! Ryan was playing in one of our conference rooms that has a HUGE TV mounted on the wall. (I seriously love playing Pirate101 on that screen--the game looks great on it).

At the 11:15 mark, Ryan and I go through the Internal servers and look around a bit. We mostly looked at the new player housing the week before it was released. :)

At the 12:13 mark we unveil his poster and Ryan's Yum-n-Ade stand while I drive the computer. Something that's not seen in this video is the amazing work behind the scenes that had to happen to tie Ryan's vocals to the stand and get it working in a stable build of the game in time for our big reveal of the Yum-n-Ade stand to Ryan. Kudos KingsIsle team from me!

Ryan and his family are great people, and it was my honor to meet them. It was a very special day that I will mark among the finest during my employment with KingsIsle. For the full story, please check out the KingsIsle blog.

. . . and then Summer Ended

It seems as though the Summer just began, but alas . . . all good things must come to an end. For me, today marks the last day I'll be able to have a noise-free morning with no dad responsibilities. Sigh, and what have I done with my awesome spare morning time?

Well, for one, I've played a lot of video games, paid bills, planned for the future, meditated, read, and basically enjoyed the silence. When it's time to go to work, it's a quick peck on the sleeping Uber Wife's lips, and I'm off to be One-Eyed Jack for the day!

Tomorrow, things will be much different around here. I'll be annoying the children awake, making breakfasts, inspiring "the putting on of the socks and the shoes," and basically doing all I can to kick people out of the house so they can make it to school on time. You know, dad stuff. It's cool. I'm totally up for it, and to be honest, I enjoy the annoying people awake . . . especially my middle son. Yes, I'm evil like that, but hey, someone has to be the destroyer of dreams and sleep . . . .

Of other news, TOTALLY FINISHED BEACHHEAD ON BAD PEDRO PACE YESTERDAY!!

That's right, I slogged my way past all the dungeon after dungeon after dungeon in Marleybone, and it looks like Rooke is going to be next on the agenda.

Pedro always runs with a bit of an unconventional crew, but I went semi-standard for my fight with Bishop . . . obviously steering away from the Witchdoctor companions, who are just death magnets when it comes to this encounter.

As you can see from that picture it was Gracie Conrad, El Toro, and Wu Ro (my horse crossbowman--I love his crit moves). When I took Thomas through this instance, he mainly just buffed, took down the adds, played healer, and placed a couple well-timed self-sacrificial mojo blade spells. Ahhh, Witch Hunter/retribution . . . it's awesome to see how forgotten those epics are and what a surprise it is when they suddenly become important in the game again. The Designers are evil like that, but hey, someone has to be the destroyer of dreams and sleep . . . sleepy gamers!

Pedro, of course, was played in much the same way . . . buffing, healing, and quite a few heavy artillery powers, sneak attacks, and mighty charges.

Good times.

Hope everyone is enjoying the Henchmen on the Test Realm!

Happy Dueling!
